ICE! at Gaylord Palms

If your looking for a fun thing to do for the Christmas Holiday Season then you may want to visit the Gaylord Palms in Orlando Florida. Right now until January 4, 2009 you can walk through an attraction called Ice! This attraction is almost two million pounds of ice which is hand-carved. This winter wonderland has hand-carved sculptures and monuments. You will see slippery ice slides, frozen creations and lots of holiday scenes. Please dress accordingly because this attraction is kept at a very cold 9 degrees. That's right, 9 degrees which is something we Floridians are not used to! So don't wear any open shoes. Keep those feet warm! You will be provided a hooded winter coat to wear to help keep you warm. Long pants are recommended. If you don't have any gloves and hats, you can purchase them at the gift shop there. Gaylord Palms is located at 6000 Osceola Parkway Kissimmee, Florida.
