Alafia River Park

The Alafia River is a park where you can go canoeing and fishing. It is also a great place for picnics and they have a playground for kids. If you like off-road bicycling trails this park has it. There are 20 miles of trails that hikers can enjoy. This is another place for some great bird-watching as you walk along the trails. You can also go camping at this park. So if you need to get away and get back to nature then this is one of those parks where you can do all of that. The Alafia River Park is located at 14326 South County Road 39, Lithia, FL. 33547.

    I have never heard of this one. I will have to look it up, and see how far it is from us. When it is cold, and the snakes and gators, hibernate, I love to go nature walking.
